We Learn From Pain

Her words sadden me but they had to be written. Her story is empowering for many reasons but the most important part for me is she survived when others have not. Unfortunately, I have seen many that just gave up. I commend her for years of education because now she is a proper example of strength when time finally caught up with change. I encourage her not to end with only one written book. One day I hope to meet you and have you sign my book.

I enjoyed this book very very very very much. This book could be used at counseling centers; therapy groups, girl book clubs, and it’s good for young men as well as older men to read and see how their input on young girls affect their journey as they become young women to adults.
I appreciate and commend the author on sharing her life’s journey as there are many who can relate that don’t share to ANYONE. This may give them strength to release held up feelings and stress. Great job 💪🏾

Layla takes her reader through the journey of her life, a life that starts out full of chaos, trauma and emotional damage. And after the destruction phase, comes the beautiful process of rebuilding, guaranteed to make you shed tears of sadness, and joy. A great read, and I recommend it for anyone who needs the courage and strength to recreate themselves.
